I tried so hard to keep our news away from the studio. I want Buddha Rider to be a happy safe place for people. I think we’ve done a great job so far. This decision I know effects so many more people then just our family. Our clients/friends have watched us for 10 years work together and build an incredible business. Last night I told an old friend who then started to cry, this is not the first time this has happened. We chatted briefly about her reaction and although people are sad for us I think it makes people look at their own lives and re-evaluate their own marriages. Nothing is permanent, we already know that. All I can say is do the best you can and then do better. We didn’t, we got tired and took certain things for granted. We stopped trying. Every marriage has it’s ups and downs, it is the ebb and flow of life. We rely on the other to lift us when we have doubt, uncertainty and forget what we are fighting for. We both got tired at the same time. We forgot. So as you move into 2018 take a minute to think about what kind of relationship you want with your partner,go and tell them and then worker harder.
Warm Hugs, Shirlee
